  • SYNOPSIS: Two girls from the village of Niolo are fetching water from the nearby lake. On the way home, one of them collapses. At the hospital, the doctors detect the presence of toxic chemicals in her blood. She was poisoned after drinking water from the lake. But who poisoned the lake? The girl’s story makes its way to Nathanaël, a journalist, and his wife Aïcha, the director of an NGO working to protect the environment. As they seek answers to the mystery of the lake, one of them is captured. Their investigation is cut short, but it won’t stop them from embarking on a dangerous journey that could cost them their lives…
