SYNOPSIS:
Journey of an African Colony tells the story of ‘The Making of Nigeria’, Africa’s most populous country. It follows and then chronicles the emergence of a nation’s journey through history, beginning with the role of ancient Empires in the Western Sudan and the northern ‘Berbers’. Throughout the episodes, the series boldly questions conventional accounts probing for hidden uncomfortable truths about both Africans and Europeans. It uncovers new materials to reveal a truly African story. This seven-part limited series promises to change our understanding of Nigeria, Africa and the world.
