  • SYNOPSIS: George represents a century of Guadeloupean feminism. Indeed her life as a pioneer, a warrior have left her with few bruises in her soul over the past 97 years with few wrinkles around the corner of her eyes and she continues to look childishly on at the world and its chimeras. A midwife by vocation, a politician by conviction and a tireless fighter for women's rights, George remains above all an enlightened witness to the history of her island, to which her own history is viscerally linked. And it’s a privilege to hear her tell them.
