SYNOPSIS:
A documentary following five young people in Brazil as they share how, despite their marginalized backgrounds--one is of Quilombola origin (the descendants of Afro-Brazilian slaves), another Pataxó (an indigenous Brazilian tribe), another the son of a housekeeper, a fisherman, and on the verge of homelessness--they managed to go to university. Each had to navigate a path through challenges and prejudice, but all were filled with the determination to make a better life for themselves and their communities. This is the story of how education taught them how to dream.
