Nigeria’s First Feature Length Cinematic Animation Film Officially Selected for Annecy Festival 2021.

After an entire year without a physical event, the Annecy International Film Festival and Market is set to host a hybrid festival from 14th to 19th June, 2021. This edition of the festival will be payinga well-deserved tribute to the African continent. Amidst an impressive array of African productions, Nigeria’s first feature length, cinematic animation movie titled “Ladybuckit & the Motley Mopsters”, has been included in the Official Selection.

Ladybuckit and the Motley Mopsters, otherwise known as LBMM, was produced & executive produced by Mrs Blessing Edeki-Amidu and directed by Adebisi Adetayo.

The film’s Associate Producer Oghenero Afiari had this to say: “All things considered, the creation of this film was nothing short of miraculous. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and with limited resources, our team faced several large scale barriers during production. So it is incredibly refreshing to see our efforts rewarded. »
